With the Brawa 70184 TWINDEXX Vario® double-decker multiple-unit train, Brawa brings you a high-quality detailed model of the latest double-decker regional trains from Deutsche Bahn AG. This set is perfectly designed for analog DC operation and offers the best prerequisites for a later digital upgrade thanks to its locomotive sound preparation.

Prototypical design and variety of details

The four-car multiple unit consists of two powered railcars and a middle car in between - all in 2nd class design. With a length over buffers of 900 mm, the train looks very present on the layout. The three-dimensional front, printed window frames, precisely fitting windows and finely engraved details give the model a realistic appearance. At the same time, the robust construction made of high-quality, impact-resistant plastic and a metal base plate ensure stable operation.

Comfort and lighting included

The multiple unit is equipped ex works with warm white LED interior lighting and an illuminated driver's cab, which set impressive accents even when running at night. The illuminated train destination displays (digitally switchable with later digitalization) and the light change depending on the direction of travel (red/white) also contribute to the authenticity of the prototype. The complete interior including driver's cab enhances the realistic impression.

Flexible use in regional transport

The prototype of the TWINDEXX Vario® was specially developed for high-performance regional transport and impresses with its high capacity, modular design and comfort for passengers. On real routes, these double-decker multiple units enable variable compositions, extended or shortened trains and convenient boarding for different platform heights.

The locomotive sound preparation in combination with the robust analog technology makes this model the perfect choice for all those who run analog trains today but would like to upgrade with sound and/or digital functions later.
