If your system grows and you want to connect additional ECoSBoost boosters and ECoSDetector feedback devices to yourECoS or Central Station, you will soon run out of sockets on the control panel.
Thenit's time to purchase the first ECoSlink terminal.
More scope: The ECoSlink terminal is connected to the 'Extend' socket of your ECoSor Central Station control panel.
It has two sockets on the front of the front panel for handheld controllers (e.g. mobile station) and four sockets on thefour sockets on the rear for devices that are installed under the system.
These mainly includeECoSBoost booster and ECoSDetector
feedback modules: The ECoSlink terminal can either supply all the devices connected to it with power via the control panel via the control center or take over this for a section itself.
This is particularly useful for larger systemswith many manual controllers, boosters and feedback modules. In this case, an external transformershould be connected.
More distance: If more than one ECoSlink terminal is used, the terminals can be easily connected to each other using standard patch cables with RJ45 sockets.terminals can be easily connected to each other using standard patch cables with RJ45 sockets.
Thesepatch cables are available from computer retailers in any length.
More order: Each ECoSlink terminal is normally installed at the front of the system: Only the front panelis visible.
This reduces cable clutter under the system.
More flexibility: The ECoSlink terminal can be used for all ECoS and Central Station control panels:
The CAN bus istogether with the supply and booster control lines is only passively distributed and the termination istermination is ensured. The function is transparent for the central station.
