Fleischmann 7160001 steam locomotive 52 5354-7, DR, Ep. IV Product Details
About the model: The 52 5354 steam locomotive is a German State Railroad model and is from Era IV. The locomotive is 144 mm long (length over buffers) and the minimum passable radius is 192 mm. The model is driven by 2 axles and 2 are equipped with traction tires. Everything else about the model can be found under the features.
About the prototype: From 1959, a general repair (GR) was carried out on a number of locomotives at the Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk (RAW) Stendal, in which only the war-related "refinements" had to be dismantled and worn components or too weakly dimensioned assemblies had to be replaced. As a result, the general overhaul mainly only involved replacing standing boilers and steering frames. The locomotives retained their original road numbers.
