Class 86 - the backbone of the branch lines

From 1928 to 1943, a total of 775 class 86 locomotives were produced by almost all German locomotive factories. The 1'D1' tank locomotives with an output of 1,000 HP and a maximum speed of up to 80 km/h were designed for mixed service on branch lines and feeder lines and were considered robust all-rounders in the DRG fleet.

Fleischmann supplies the locomotive in the DRG version with finely detailed leading and trailing wheels with perforated spokes.
