Fleischmann 732106 electric locomotive Nicole, Strukton Rail, Ep. VI

In May 2019, Strukton acquired its first electric locomotive. A locomotive of the former series 1600/1800 of the Dutch Railways (NS). The operating number at the time was 1824, and after a thorough overhaul and repainting, it was christened "Nicole". Currently, it is regularly used to transport machinery and infrastructure materials to support work on the Dutch tracks.Strukton's goal is to equip the electric locomotives with batteries so that they can run independently on lines without overhead wires. Work plans for the conversion are currently underway.
