Fleischmann 732176 electric locomotive Nicole, Strukton Rail, Ep. VI

In May 2019, Strukton acquired its first electric locomotive. A locomotive of the former class 1600/1800 of the Dutch Railways (NS). After a thorough overhaul and repainting, it was christened "Nicole". It is currently regularly used to transport machinery and infrastructure materials to support work on the Dutch tracks.Strukton's aim is to equip the electric locomotives with batteries so that they can run independently on lines without overhead lines. The work planning for the conversion is currently underway.
