With the Fleischmann 7560074, SBB Cargo International brings one of the most spectacular special liveries to N scale: The electric locomotive 193 459-5 "Deutschlandpiercer" complements the exclusive XLoad Vectron fleet, designed in cooperation with Railcolor Design. The locomotive bears the theme "Bundestag Berlin" as its christened name and its eye-catching design is a visual homage to Germany - identical on both sides.
Design meets international performance
The Vectron locomotive 193 459-5 is part of SBB Cargo International's cross-border XLoad fleet and is used for freight transport throughout Europe. With its elaborately designed livery, it complements the series of "Piercer" special locomotives, which also includes variants for Italy, Switzerland and the Netherlands. Technically, it is based on the proven Siemens Vectron concept, here faithfully reproduced in 1:160 scale.
Modern model technology on a small scale
The model has an electrical interface in accordance with the Next18 standard and is therefore ready for subsequent digital expansion. The head/tail light changes depending on the direction of travel and is equipped with long-life LED technology. The light functions can be individually adjusted via a DIP switch. Four axles are powered, two of them with traction tires. A flywheel ensures smooth running even at low speeds.
Detailing at the highest level
The roof section is finely detailed, including all the typical Vectron elements. The model runs safely on radii from 192 mm and is equipped with KK kinematics in the NEM 355 shaft - ideal for realistic wagon transitions on the layout. With a running length of 109 mm, the locomotive fits perfectly with all modern European-style freight car trains.
