The Fleischmann 7570069 is a detailed replica of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB ) 1020 012-9 electric locomotive in N scale (1:160). The model shows the locomotive in the operating condition of Era IV in the typical blood orange livery with umbra gray roof and running gear - a classic of Austrian railroad operation.

The locomotive is based on the legendary DRG class E 94, 44 of which remained in Austria after the Second World War. The ÖBB ordered three more locomotives in 1952 and ran them from 1954 as class 1020. For decades, it was impossible to imagine freight train and ramp service without it - a workhorse with cult status.

The model is equipped with a digital decoder in accordance with NEM 651 and offers extensive, digitally switchable sound and light functions. The built-in 3-pole motor with flywheel drives all four axles, two of which are fitted with traction tires - for optimum traction.

The LED headlights are dependent on the direction of travel and ensure a prototypical appearance with the typical triple headlights. The locomotive is equipped with close coupling kinematics and NEM 355 coupling shafts and can also be used on tight radii from 192 mm.

With a length over buffers of 116 mm, the locomotive is ideally dimensioned for use with an extensive range of Era IV freight wagons. The combination of prototypical design, digital equipment and powerful drive makes the 7570069 the perfect train locomotive for Austrian model railroad layouts.
