Description

Fleischmann 7560078 N E-Lok BB 7290, SNCF, Ep. IV Product Details

Fleischmann 7560078 N Electric locomotive BB 7290, SNCF, Ep. IV

Are you looking for a typical French locomotive for your Era IV layout? The BB 7290 of the SNCF was specially modified for Talgo use and impresses with its classic "nez cassé" design - now implemented in great detail and prototypically for N scale!

BB 7200 - Classics on the French direct current network

From 1976, the French State Railways (SNCF) procured a total of 237 locomotives of the BB 7200 series for use on the DC network. The design created by Paul Arzens with the distinctive "broken nose" ("nez cassé") made the series an icon of French railroad technology. The BB 7290 depicted here was equipped with special buffers to be able to haul Talgo trains - recognizable by the red-painted buffer bodies.

Finely detailed model with Talgo equipment

Fleischmann provides a carefully designed model with the finest printing, separately applied components and filigree pantographs. The headlights and marker lights can be switched with a DIP switch and allow flexible use on analog layouts. The characteristic red buffer parts are also reproduced true to the original.

Technically convincing in analog operation

A 3-pole motor drives four axles, two of which have traction tires. The flywheel mass ensures smooth running characteristics. The locomotive can be digitized via the Next18 interface, which makes the changeover to digital operation particularly easy. Thanks to the NEM 355 shaft with KK kinematics, the locomotive is ready for realistic train sets.

Secure now - SNCF Talgo locomotive for Era IV
