Fleischmann 7570010 electric locomotive Re 475 425-5, BLS Cargo Ep. IV Product Details
In 2019, BLS Cargo decided to increase its existing Vectron fleet of around 15 locomotives by 25 machines. In addition to the country packages for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and the Netherlands, the new locomotives now also include Belgium. The main visual difference between the locomotives is the new design on the sides. The design moves a little closer to their slogan "The Alpinists" and shows mountaineers at lofty heights in the impressive Swiss mountains. The chosen road number Re 475 425 is dedicated to the Re 425 fleet, which has been replaced by the new Vectron locomotives, thus sending a real Swiss locomotive into retirement.
