Fleischmann 7570012 electric locomotive Re 460 073-0, SBB Ep. IV

SBB procured 24 locomotives from this series to implement the "Rail 2000" concept. A further series of 75 locomotives was built to handle the piggyback corridor through Switzerland, which was to be guaranteed from 01.01.1994. These locomotives were later assigned to passenger transport with the divisionalization. To this day, they are indispensable for traction on the dense Swiss regular-interval service.
