Fleischmann 7570019 N electric locomotive BR 141, DBAG, Ep.V, DC-sound Product Details
The class E 41 (from 1968: 141) locomotives were first delivered to the Deutsche Bundesbahn in 1956 for light and mixed service on main lines with a maximum speed of 120 km/h and a continuous output of 2,310 kW. They were the only series of the standard locomotive program to be equipped with a switchgear on the low-voltage side of the transformer. The switchgear had a characteristic noise development, which, in addition to the large tractive force jumps, led to the nickname "Knallfrosch". From 1987, the locomotives were painted in oriental red.
