The 642 039 multiple unit bears the striking design of UBB - a subsidiary of DB AG - and runs along the Baltic coast. The model reflects the typical use of these vehicles in contemporary regional transportation.

The two-car multiple unit is elaborately printed, has inset windows, detailed interior fittings and an integrated die-cast metal chassis in both parts of the vehicle. The vehicles are connected to each other via a Jakobs bogie guided by a scenery guide, the ends of the vehicles have dummy couplers. Adapters with NEM 355 mounting shafts and PROFI couplers 9545 are included for multiple traction.

The multiple unit runs with a 3-pole motor, has two driven axles with traction tires and a flywheel for smooth running. The LED headlights change depending on the direction of travel. If required, a digital decoder can be installed via the NEM 651 interface - perfect for later digital operation.
