Jägerndorfer Collection JC63202 N Electric Locomotive E 3319 Bag Locomotive, DR, US Zone, Era II, DC Sound

The historic atmosphere of an electric locomotive in compact N scale: The Jägerndorfer Collection JC63202 E-Lok E 3319 Bag Locomotive, DR, U.S. Zone, Era II, DC Sound brings a special prototype variant to the model railroad layout. With digital features, sound, LED lighting, and white light changes, this model is ideal for collectors and layout operators who want to run exceptional Era II vehicles.

From the BBÖ Prototype to the E 3319 “Beutelok”

In the early 1920s, the BBÖ ordered 20 Class 1029 locomotives for fast passenger trains on newly electrified lines. The electric locomotives had only one cab and featured a 1’C1’ wheel arrangement. In 1938, the locomotives were taken over by the Deutsche Reichsbahn and classified as the E33.

Seven locomotives were stationed in Germany at the Basel Badischer Bahnhof depot and were primarily used on the Wiesentalbahn and Wehratalbahn lines. Starting in 1954, the locomotives were renumbered as Class 1073 by the ÖBB and partially modernized. Until 1975, they were in service on Vienna’s suburban rail network, among other routes.

DC sound for N gauge

The model is designed for the 2L DC system and comes equipped with digital sound. The NEM651 interface provides a suitable technical foundation, while LED lighting and the white headlight change ensure an authentic model appearance during operation.

A special model for historic train formations

With a length over buffers of 80 mm, the electric locomotive remains compact and is well-suited for N-gauge layouts with limited space. The minimum curve radius of 225 mm supports its use in many layout designs. The NEM-compliant coupler shaft without KK kinematics allows for integration into compatible train sets.

Expand your N-gauge collection with the Jägerndorfer Collection JC63202 E 3319 Bag Locomotive and create historic electric locomotive scenes with a special focus on the DR and US Zone.
