Kres 1382 railcar VT 137 "Stettin" 2-teilig, DRG, Ep. II Product Details
About the prototype: The railcars 137 326-331 a/b and 367-376 a/b were sided from 1940-41 and were to be used on non-electrified regional high-speed lines. After the Second World War, 3 of them went to the DB, 9 to the DR and one to the CSD, which was returned to the GDR shortly afterwards and dismantled there. In the Federal Republic of Germany, the railcars were still in service until 1969. In the DR, they were decommissioned as railcars in the mid-1960s but continued to be used as sidecars without engines.
About the model: Kres is now dedicating a model to this railcar, which is dedicated to the operating condition of Era II. This model is an excellent reproduction of the structural features of the railcar from the roof to the chassis. A smooth-running motor with high power ensures great running characteristics. The interior lighting sets the scene for the detailed interior and, like the front and end lighting, is implemented using LEDs. These ensure clear light colors, high luminosity and minimal maintenance.
