About the prototype: This double-decker buffet car was specially developed in 1958 for the double-decker articulated train DGBe (DGB 12). A total of 6 of these single cars were built. With their high gangways, they could be used between two half-trains.
At the beginning of the 1980s, these coaches were no longer used in scheduled train services. Due to their catering facilities, some of them were still used for a while as break catering until they too were later taken out of service and scrapped.
About the model: The car is equipped with interior lighting and directional tail lights as standard and has a 4-pin digital interface and solder pads. The model is already available with a built-in decoder.
