Märklin 39004 steam locomotive BR 01, DB, Ep. III

Märklin presents a fine new steam locomotive that is based on the original class 01 express steam locomotive.

The model is equipped with an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions and has controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a flywheel mass in the boiler. 3 axles powered. Traction tires. Locomotive and tender constructed mostly of metal. The locomotive is equipped for a 7226 smoke unit. The triple headlights change over with the direction of travel and the smoke unit can be installed in the locomotive and will work in conventional operation, but can be controlled digitally. Firebox flickering can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free warm white LEDs are used for the lighting. Close coupler with kinematics between the locomotive and the tender. The tender has a close coupler with kinematics and an NEM shaft. Piston rod protection tubes and brake hoses are included.
