The model depicts the current operational configuration as of 2026 and is based on the WGmh-type party car. The unique color scheme echoes the design of the car as it was used in the Metal-Train formation for the Wacken Open Air festival. As a result, the car combines an extraordinary train theme with digitally controllable functions, lighting, and customizable sound options.

Eye-catching special design modeled after the 2026 version

The design of the Märklin party car is based on the lounge car of Euro-Express Sonderzüge GmbH & Co. KG. The focal point is the special W:O:A® decal set, which was created for the Metal-Train’s run. Thanks to this prototypical design, the car becomes a striking component of a specially assembled special train.

The interior also picks up on the party car’s theme. Seven Metalhead figures are placed inside the car, helping to convey the special atmosphere on board. As a result, the model not only stands out from the outside but also features a thematically appropriate interior design.

Digitally Controllable Lighting Functions

The Märklin 43945 comes standard with built-in interior lighting. This can be controlled digitally. In addition, the model features bar lighting that is also digitally controllable. Both the interior lighting and the bar lighting use warm-white LEDs.

The separately controllable lighting zones allow for a varied presentation of the party car. This enables the car to be effectively showcased both while in motion and when the train is stationary. The digitally controllable functions can be operated via the built-in mfx decoder.

Customizable Music and Sounds

A special feature of the party car is its sound capabilities. Theme-specific sound functions can be downloaded to a micro-SD card via a QR code. The micro-SD card required for this is not included.

The sound file, a conversion program, and corresponding instructions are available for download on the Märklin website. Music and sounds are played using the respective function buttons. Existing music tracks and sounds can be replaced as desired or supplemented with additional content.

A speaker is built into the car for playback. This ensures optimal sound quality. Additionally, the volume can be adjusted to suit personal preferences or the specific operating situation.

Current-Carrying Couplers and mfx Decoder

The model is equipped with an mfx digital decoder. In addition to the light and sound functions, the current-carrying couplers can also be controlled digitally. When operating the model, please follow the instructions in the owner’s manual.

The current-carrying couplers complement the Party Car’s digital features and support its integration into a suitably equipped train set. The length over the buffers is approximately 28.2 cm. This gives the car the presence needed to showcase its special design and illuminated interior on an H0 layout.
