Prototype: Twelve Union Pacific Railroad (UP) hopper cars for transporting coal. Version with five unloading devices on the car floor. Current operating condition.Model: The cars are completely new construction in a detailed design with different car numbers. The cars have detailed trucks with special wheel sets. All of the cars have a hand wheel attached to the front and load inserts loaded with real coal in a scale grain size. For operation with claw couplers, the NEM shaft can be fixed in place with the enclosed clamping pieces. All of the cars are individually packaged in additional outer packaging. Length over coupler approx. 19 cm per car. DC wheel set E320552 (NEM), E320389 (RP25).Highlights Completely new construction. All of the cars have a coal load insert. Operation with claw and normal close couplers possible. Ideal for block trains. All of the cars are individually packaged in additional outer packaging.
