Class 18 Steam Locomotive

Prototype: German State Railroad of the GDR (DR/GDR) class 18 314 express train steam locomotive with coal main firing and a 2'2'T24 coal tender. Rebuilt version as a test locomotive of the VES-M Halle (Saale). Version with a rebuilt boiler and partial paneling, based on the steam locomotive 18 314 (former Badische IVh). With Witte wind deflectors and an induction magnet on one side. Operating condition around 1960.

• Control changeover (forward, reverse, continuous operation) in 3 stages

• The model is supplied with an equipment package including a screw coupling, steam oil and gloves
• Mounted on a black painted aluminum base for showcase presentation
