After World War 2, the locomotive construction Karl Mam built the trailing locomotive
GR No 001 actually for the USSR. The first test locomotive
was used in the Prignitz region after the design errors had been corrected. The locomotive
designated under the locomotive number 99 l40l was very robust and in service until
1967. 2 locomotives were in service with the Mansfelder Bergbahn
and were also later scrapped. In 1996, the mining railroad bought back a locomotive
from Russia and refurbished it.
