The Piko BR 383 PKP Cargo International with factory-fitted sound decoder brings the latest Vectron technology and authentic digital sound to your H0 DC layout. The model stands for unlimited mobility in European freight transportation - realistically implemented in the style of Era VI.
Technology & equipment - powerful sound and digitally ready for operation
The model is equipped with a PluX22 sound decoder that allows immediate digital operation with realistic locomotive sounds. A single-arm pantograph made of metal, finely engraved bogies and a functional white/red light change ensure an authentic operating image and high attention to detail. The digital interface allows additional control functions via the control center.
Prototype: The Vectron as class 383 at PKP Cargo International
With an output of 6400 kW and speeds of up to 200 km/h, the Vectron from Siemens is an all-rounder used throughout Europe. The BR 383 version is operated by PKP Cargo International in cross-border freight traffic, primarily on routes between Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Use & compatibility
The locomotive is suitable for DC tracks with a minimum radius of 358 mm. Thanks to the NEM shaft with close coupler couplers, the locomotive can be easily added to modern freight trains or container traffic. Ideal for all those who value current international train scenarios.
