Piko 37453 G Diesel Locomotive NoHAB, EBS, Ep. VI - The legendary round nose as garden railroad power
With the Piko G diesel locomotive NoHAB in EBS (Erfurter Bahnservice) livery, you can bring a real cult object of European railroad history to your garden railroad. The characteristic round noses were built between 1954 and 1965 by the Swedish manufacturer NoHAB - based on the American F-design from EMD. Today, some of these machines, like the prototype of this locomotive, are still in active service with private railroad companies such as EBS.
Detailed realization for the highest demands
The locomotive features free-standing handrails, signal horns, perfectly inserted portholes and the finest engravings on the fan grilles. The famous "round nose" is faithfully reproduced. By retrofitting a digital decoder, the driver's cab, engine room and running gear lighting can be individually switched digitally - ideal for modern layouts and scenarios.

From Denmark to Norway to Hungary: NoHAB locomotives shaped the image of European state railroads for decades. In Belgium, Anglo-Franco-Belge produced further variants.
