The carriages impress with their contemporary mold construction, a robust design suitable for tough outdoor use, streak-free windows and sharp engravings.

The carriages are prepared for easy retrofitting of interior lighting, with which the interior fittings are shown to their best advantage. The harmonious printing and paintwork perfectly round off the attractive effect of this important vehicle series in the original and model. The cars in the appearance of the German Reichsbahn in Era IV are the ideal vehicles for reproducing short and long passenger trains in combination with many PIKO locomotives, e.g. the BR 95 and BR 50.35.
