This set of two consists of one 1st/2nd class and one 2nd class DR express train coach in Era III. PIKO has taken on a challenge with the new design of the type 42 express train coaches and passed it with flying colors. The elegant vehicles are excellently reproduced in N scale and close a large gap in the 1:160 scale vehicle fleet. The body impresses with sharp and precise engravings, which have a pleasantly three-dimensional effect, especially on the bogies and in the door area, and thus play a decisive role in shaping the harmonious appearance. The surface finish of the carriages consists of an extremely fine paint finish with absolutely sharp contour printing. An optional LED interior lighting system, which can be retrofitted in a few simple steps, provides additional atmosphere when using the system.
