Piko 50630 steam locomotive BR 83.10, DR, Ep. IV

The new design of the new PIKO class 83.10 is the first large-scale production model of this locomotive type that is suitable for operation. The locomotive convinces with attention to detail and an outstandingly successful implementation of the prototype proportions. It is equipped with a multitude of filigree, attached parts (fine lines, wind deflectors, bell, whistle, lid of the water boxes, generator, etc.) and has three domes and a three-light tip signal. The fine spoked wheels, the precise steering as well as the detailed cab interior make the locomotive additionally an eye-catcher on your layout. The locomotive is not only charming from the outside, but also technically the BR 83.10 presents itself with a cab and running gear lighting, a firebox light and an LED tip signal on the latest state of the art. The powerful motor with two built-in adhesive strips provides sufficient tractive effort for all prototypical train compositions. In addition to the unproblematic installation of a digital decoder and retrofitting with sound, the locomotive also has the option of retrofitting a smoke set.
