With the Piko H0 sound dual-power locomotive BR 248 "Vectron Dual Mode" in the PRESS version, you get the latest railroad technology in your model railway operating concept. The locomotive developed by Siemens combines electric and diesel traction - flexible, sustainable and reliable. The Epoch VI version implemented here is based on the Vectron Dual Mode introduced in 2019, which is already in active use at PRESS (Eisenbahn-Bau- und Betriebsgesellschaft Pressnitztalbahn mbH).

Digital precision & modern detailing

The model offers digitally switchable driver's cab, engine room and driver's desk lighting as well as a factory-installed PluX22 sound decoder for realistic operating sound. A metal scissor pantograph, rotating roof fan wheel, finely etched fan grilles and detailed bogies round off the modern appearance. It is also possible to look into the engine room - the locomotive sets standards in appearance and function.
