Piko 51395 electric locomotive BR 340, CD, Ep. VI (incl. sound) AC current/AC

Piko presents a version of the class S499, which corresponds to the class 340 of the ČD. The elegance of the beautifully shaped locomotives of the Škoda 47E "Laminátka" type has been excellently transferred to the 1:87 scale, resulting in an absolutely harmonious overall picture. The many attractive details, such as the skylights in the engine room, have been elegantly implemented and the strongly structured lines of the locomotive body visualized by sharp engravings. Technical elements such as the bogies, which complete the successful design of the model, have been precisely reproduced. The colorful livery of the prototype, including dynamic decorative elements, also looks great on the locomotive in 1:87 thanks to the elaborate paintwork and printing. The locomotive is powered by a five-pole motor whose smooth running is perfected by two flywheels. There is of course red and white lighting that changes with the direction of travel and uses modern LED technology. As a sound model, the electric locomotive is already equipped with an mfx®-compatible PluX22 sound decoder at the factory. The model of the ČD Cargo class 340 is the first version to show the current, modernized state of the class. Characteristic of this are the single-arm pantographs, the completely modified roof garden and the wide high-performance buffers.
