Piko 51876 electric locomotive BR 118, DB, Ep. IV

With the excellently detailed model of the cult locomotives of the BR 118, PIKO has created a worthy monument to another old German electric locomotive. The PIKO model impresses with the harmonious realization of its Bundesbahn prototype. The fine wheelsets, the exact reproduction of the prototypical roof equipment with filigree pantographs and the exact reproduction of the front sections should be emphasized. The driver's cab and engine room lighting as well as the front and rear lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The model with a die-cast zinc frame has excellent running characteristics and high tractive forces. Retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker is prepared on the tidy circuit board with PluX22 interface.
