The side ventilation grilles are executed as strongly structuring elements of the locomotive body with fine etched parts and are an absolute eye-catcher. But also the distinctive front side windows as well as the side "portholes" contribute to the excellent image due to their perfectly flush fit. The impression is completed by the precise and highly detailed design of the bogies. A powerful and smooth-running motor with two flywheels serves as propulsion. Various lighting functions and the gritty sound of the sound versions provide varied operation on the layout. The sound version of the DSB's My 1100 model already has an mfx®-capable PluX22 sound decoder ex works.
