The PIKO "Wittenberg" 2nd class local traffic control car in the version of the GfF Maas-Wupper-Express is an outstanding model for all H0 enthusiasts. It is based on the popular Wittenberg control car and represents an important element in modern regional transportation in Era VI.

This PIKO Expert model impresses with its true-to-scale realization, the finely engraved bogies and the separately attached handle bars. The high production quality ensures a realistic appearance on any layout. With a length over buffers of 303 mm and a minimum radius of 358 mm, the wagon is ideal for use in modern train formations.

Technology and lighting functions

The cab control car is prepared for the installation of a PIKO function decoder and already offers a white/red LED light change in the direction of travel in analog operation. The train destination display and the driver's desk lighting can be switched digitally, allowing realistic scenes such as entering stations or shunting at night to be convincingly implemented.

Optional extension

For an atmospheric effect inside the train, the interior lighting can be easily retrofitted with the PIKO set #56293. In this way, different times of day or realistic night journeys can be perfectly represented on the layout.
