Roco 7110046 H0 Steam locomotive 50 1751 - DC sound model with powerful performance and fine appearance
The Roco 7110046 steam locomotive 50 1751 brings authentic Era III Federal Railroad atmosphere to your model railroad layout. As a DC sound model with powerful drive and a sonorous digital decoder, it represents the heavy freight train service of the post-war period. The locomotive is based on the proven class 50 and has been implemented in the typical ÜK design without a bell mechanism - combined with numerous technical and visual highlights.
Powerful technology for realistic operations
The model is driven on two axles of the tender and transmitted to all five driving axles of the locomotive via a cardan shaft - a total of 7 driven axles ensure maximum tractive power. A flywheel mass supports smooth running. The PluX16 decoder with sound function provides true-to-original locomotive sounds, while the 3 headlights at both ends light up using LED technology and change with the direction of travel.
Historically correct in ÜK design
The 4-domed boiler design without a bell corresponds to the conversions and simplifications that many class 50 locomotives underwent during their service life. Machines with lower numbers were also adapted accordingly at a later date. The small lamps on the front buffer beam and the driving wheel sets as well as the coupling and driving rods made of cast metal give the model a particularly authentic look and outstanding stability.
The class 50 - the backbone of DB freight trains
As one of the most frequently used freight locomotives, the class 50 was a real all-rounder in daily service on the German Federal Railroad. With its robust body, powerful engine and the possibility of simplification (ÜK version), it was predestined for use in all regions of Germany - especially on main and branch lines with heavy trains.
