With the Roco 7120045 steam locomotive 38 2566, Roco is bringing an excellently equipped edition model of the Deutsche Reichsbahn to the H0 track. This classic passenger locomotive - formerly the Prussian P8 - appears here in its late DR version with riveted tender, Witte wind deflectors and modern digital sound technology for AC systems. Digital equipment for modern AC operation
The model is equipped with a PluX22 digital decoder and provides realistic locomotive sounds via the integrated sound function. The LED headlights change according to the direction of travel, while two tail lights on the tender round off the typical DR look. In digital mode, the cab and engine lighting can be switched separately - perfect for authentic night-time or shunting scenes.
Finely crafted prototype design
The riveted tender design with Witte wind deflectors and filigree spoked wheels make the model a real eye-catcher. The BR 38 2566 appears here without dynamic steam, but offers an impressive presence on the layout thanks to its light and sound. A special feature: The model is based at Rbd Halle, Bw Leipzig-Süd, which makes it particularly authentic for East German layouts.
