About the model: The Rh 372 electric locomotive from Era VI is a model from the Roco brand. The locomotive has been produced on a scale of 1:87 and has been painted true to the original and has the finest printing. In addition to its detailed appearance, the model has numerous impressive features. Among other things, the locomotive has interior lighting and a high-quality sound decoder for a perfect sound experience.

About the prototype: Together with the Deutsche Reichsbahn (GDR), the CSD procured a total of 35 multi-system locomotives for continuous electric operation on the Dresden-Prague line, which could be used both on the 3 kV direct current network of the ČSSR and on the 15 kV alternating current network of the GDR. After testing a prototype, fourteen series machines were put into operation from 1991 and stationed in the Děčín locomotive depot.When the freight division CD Cargo was founded in 2007, nine locomotives were assigned to the new company. Thanks to the fact that they were the only locomotives from ČD Cargo that could be used on the German railroad network until 2016, all locomotives were gradually modernized and painted in the new company colors.

In addition to their main area of operation for transporting trains at the Děčín/Bad Schandau border crossing (and on to Dresden and Leipzig), they are occasionally used in domestic traffic and also reach the border stations to Poland.
