About the model: The Rh 371 electric locomotive from Era V-VI is a model from the Roco brand. The locomotive was manufactured on a scale of 1:87 and painted red with a yellow band underneath the windows as well as the finest printing. In addition to its detailed appearance, the model has numerous impressive features. Among other things, the locomotive has interior lighting and a high-quality sound decoder for a perfect sound experience.

About the prototype: In the 1980s, the CSD and the DR decided to procure dual-system locomotives in order to simplify the constantly growing traffic and operating procedures in cross-border traffic on the Berlin-Dresden-Prague route.The expansion of the Decín-Prague line to a maximum speed of 160 km/h made it necessary to upgrade some locomotives. From 1994, six Czech Rh 372 locomotives were adapted for faster international passenger services and have since been operating under the class designation 371 - "Turbobastard". CD relocated the converted locomotives to the Prague depot.
