Skoda class 263 - proven technology for AC operation
The 263 series was developed by Skoda as the second generation of universal electric locomotives. A total of ten series locomotives were built from the S 499.2 alternating current series between 1984 and 1988. With an output of 3,060 kW and a top speed of 120 km/h, the locomotive is still in service today - especially on the Bratislava-Břeclav route under the ZSSK flag.
Finely detailed model with realistic equipment
The model features a large number of prototypical details: Air conditioning and signal horns on the roof, filigree fan blades with a view through, short handrails, filigree bogies with spoke wheels and innovatively attached pantographs. Closed railroad scrapers and air tanks are included as accessories for the showcase display.
