With the Roco 7520158 112 101-1 electric locomotive, you get an ultra-modern model for your Märklin-compatible H0 layout. Prototype: The class 112.1

The class 112.1 was introduced in 1992 as a further development of the class 112.0. The most striking external change was the switch from large headlights and taillights to smaller combined halogen lamps. With an output of 4,000 kW and a maximum speed of 160 km/h, the class 112.1 is used universally and can still be seen today in front of intercity, regional express and special passenger trains throughout Germany.

Model with extensive digital equipment

The locomotive is equipped with a PluX22 digital decoder that enables numerous functions: switchable headlights/tail lights, shunting lights, driver's cab lighting and a digitally controllable train destination display. The integrated sound decoder provides a realistic sound image that perfectly rounds off the operating experience on the model railroad.

Technical details

The model has a powerful 5-pole motor with a flywheel. Two axles are powered and two are fitted with traction tires for optimum tractive power. The direction-dependent LED headlights ensure realistic operation. Thanks to the NEM 362 shaft with close coupling kinematics, the locomotive can be easily integrated into trains.

Ideal for everyday modern railroading

With a length of 192 mm, the locomotive is perfect for use in front of intercity and regional express trains of Era VI. It authentically complements modern car fleets and, thanks to its digital equipment, is an excellent choice for demanding model railroaders with an AC system.
