Description

Trix 25318 H0 Hybrid-Lok Vectron 248 052, Bahnbau Gruppe, DB AG, Ep. VI, DC-MFX-Sound Product Details

Trix 25318 H0 Vectron DM class 249, DB AG, DC Sound - Modern Trackwork Power with Dual-Mode Technology

The Trix 25318 locomotive is the latest version of the innovative class 249 dual-power locomotive (Vectron Dual Mode light) from DB AG. As part of the Siemens Vectron product family, it combines the advantages of electric and diesel-powered traction - ideal for flexible use in construction train and mainline service. The locomotive has the road number 249 052 and represents the operating status as of 2025 - ideal for modern Era VI layouts.

Powerful drive and digital equipment

A controlled high-performance drive powers all four axles, supported by traction tires for maximum traction. The model is equipped with a modern digital decoder and offers extensive sound functions - for a realistic operating picture, whether on the main line or in track construction use.

Comprehensive light functions with high prototype fidelity

The three-light headlights and two red marker lights change depending on the direction of travel and can be switched digitally. The headlights can be deactivated separately for each locomotive side. When the headlights are deactivated on both sides, the double A light function is automatically activated. The cab, control panel and engine room lighting can be controlled digitally. The driving lamp can also be switched on separately. All lighting functions are realized with warm white and red LEDs.

Versatile operating functions and fine detailing

The locomotive has pantographs that can be raised and lowered digitally, a Telex coupler on both sides of the locomotive and the popular coupler roller function - ideal for realistic shunting scenes. A buffer storage unit ensures reliable operation even during short power outages. The chassis and body are largely made of metal. Many attached details such as brake hoses, shunting couplings and grab irons round off the high-quality appearance.
