The connection is made via wires to the pads or pins "decoder plus / common plus" and "decoder ground". Operation is possible with 2 or 3 gold caps.
Compatibility & application
Suitable for decoders without their own energy storage connections or with limited options. Compatible with digital locomotive decoders from all common manufacturers, provided they are operated within the voltage limits.
