Description

Busch 1800 Rollprüfstand Product Details

Rolling test stands are used to "jack up" locomotives. The traction current is transferred from the rail to the wheels of the locomotive via the roller test stands. The locomotive wheels can rotate freely. Rolling test stands are used in the tinkering workshop (locomotive repairs, engine oiling, etc.) or for the presentation of locomotives, e.g. on the book shelf, etc.

This newly developed and patented rolling test stand consists of three rolling stands for one axle each (not all axles of a locomotive have to be supported by rolling stands). Two contact surfaces per roller block serve as track supports and transmit the current from the track via the sliding rollers to the wheels of the locomotive. The roller blocks can be expanded with additional contact springs (supplied) to include an additional center conductor contact for the Märklin® system. The sliding rollers are absolute precision turned parts to ensure optimum running characteristics and power transmission.
