ESPEWE 95623 IFA S4000 TLF16 "Feuerwehr Beeskow"

The S4000 was produced between 1959 and 1967 and had a driver's cab with crew cabin for 6 crew members. All equipment such as the pump and rapid intervention system were integrated in the equipment compartment, and there were 2 scaling ladders on the accessible roof.

Production took place at the "VEB Feuerlöschgerätewerk Jöhstadt" until 1965, then at the "VEB Feuerlöschgerätewerk Luckenwalde". The vehicles from Luckenwalde can be recognized by the smooth design of the cab, the vehicles from Jöhstadt have a beading under the side windows. The model reproduces the version from Luckenwalde. Production ended when it was replaced by the newly developed W50 LA TLF 16 on a four-wheel drive chassis in 1969. The prototype of the reproduced model is a well-kept traditional vehicle from Beeskow in Brandenburg.
