ESU 50098 ECoSDetector RC Rückmeldemodul

The ECoSDetector RC is able to monitor its 4 track sections in particular: With the help of RailCom® technology ("local detector"), it is not only possible to find out whether there is a train on these sections, but even exactly which train it is (train number recognition). Of course, you need Railcom®-capable locomotive decoders for this.

Clever

Knowing exactly which train is on a section leads to new functions in conjunction with the ECoS route module: For example, the barriers of a level crossing can be lowered automatically, or the trains can search for a free track in the staging yard. The switching inputs or track occupancy detectors are electronically "debounced" to ensure reliable feedback even in the event of unreliable contact or heavily soiled rails.

ECoSlink connection

Each ECoSDetector RC is connected directly to the control center via the ECoSlink bus. In addition to all ECoS command stations, all Central Station® Reloaded with update from ESU are also suitable. The galvanic isolation of the bus system and central station ensures maximum operational reliability and secure transmission to the central station. All ECoSDetector RC are automatically recognized at the central station and integrated into the operating sequence. The devices can be configured conveniently and easily directly at the control center and can also be configured after installation.

Future built in

The operating software of each ECoSDetector RC can be updated and extended with additional functions as required: The "update" required for this is carried out fully automatically by the control panel if required. In this way, your ECoSDetector is always state of the art.
