ESU 59827 LokPilot micro V5.0, DCC 6-pin Direkt

The LokPilot 5 micro DCC is the "twin" of the LokPilot 5 micro. With only 8.0mm x 7.0mm and a thickness of only 2.4mm (at the capacitor: 2.9mm) just small enough to fit into very small locomotives of nominal sizes Z, N or TT, it is a pure DCC decoder. However, this sacrifice of flexibility is rewarded with a lower price.

Operating modes:

The LokPilot 5 micro DCC is a ?purebred DCC decoder. 14 to 128 speed steps are as natural as 2- and 4-digit addresses. Up to 32 functions can be triggered. Thanks to RailComPlus®, the decoder registers fully automatically with a suitable digital command station.

It handles all DCC programming modes and thanks to RailCom®, the CV values on the main track can be read out with suitable command stations. For command stations that can only program CVs from 1-255 there are auxiliary registers.

The LokPilot 5 micro DCC decoder recognizes Märklin® braking tracks as well as ZIMO® HLU / ZACK commands or the Lenz® ABC system. Braking with DCC brake modules or with DC voltage is also possible. In addition, it also stops with a Selectrix® brake diode. An ABC shuttle train automatic allows automatic shuttling between two stations.

The LokPilot 5 DCC decoder can be used on analog DC railroads. The maximum speed can be set separately.

The decoder switches between the operating modes fully automatically on-the-fly. For the most part, nothing needs to be set.

We know that you want your locomotives to be as realistic as possible. That's why we've equipped the LokPilot 5 micro DCC with an amazing number of function outputs. The versions with 6-pin or 8-pin harness offer 4 amplified function outputs with 180mA output current each, as well as two logic level outputs for servos or Susi. The versions with Next18 or PluX16 interface provide a total of 6 amplified outputs and two logic level outputs. All important light functions are available. The brightness of each output can be adjusted separately. The decoder handles automatic pressing on and off during uncoupling for ROCO®, Krois® and Telex® couplers.

Motor control:

The motor control of the LokPilot 5 micro DCC has again been fundamentally improved. A variably adjustable PWM clock frequency from 10kHz to 50kHz ensures super quiet operation especially with bell armature motors The typical humming noise is a thing of the past. The load control can now be adapted to difficult cases with up to 10 CVs. The unique "Autotune" function allows automatic tuning of the decoder to the motor. With up to 0.75A motor current, the LokPilot 5 micro DCC decoder provides enough juice for the intended application scenarios.

Operational safety:

A PowerPack can be connected to the LokPilot 5 micro for bridging dirty track sections if desired.

Protection:

Of course, the motor output and the function outputs are protected against overload. We want you to enjoy your decoder for as long as possible.
