Fleischmann 731905 electric locomotive E19 02, grün Product Details
Prototype: The "blue F train network" of Era III has long been a legend: As early as 1951, the German Federal Railroad created a range of fast long-distance trains. The steel blue painted carriages also stood out due to the multi-colored printing on the side rails. The raised silver DB letters were decorated in the middle of the carriage. All "blue" trains - with the exception of two international connections - only ran 2nd class. Until the class reform in the summer of 1956, 2nd class corresponded to the three-class system in force up to that point, when the old plush class was abolished, the 1st class still in force today. A tin plate covered the class number 1, which was not always implemented consistently, as several model photos prove.
