With the Fleischmann 7560068, ČD Cargo brings a striking piece of European railroad history to your N-gauge layout. The 372 007-5 electric locomotive is part of a series of multi-system locomotives that were specially developed for through traffic between Germany and the former Czechoslovakia. Today it operates as a modernized locomotive in cross-border freight traffic for ČD Cargo - depicted in the current Era VI.

Dresden-Prague border traffic - realistically implemented in the model

The locomotive was originally procured jointly by ČSD and DR and is capable of running on both 3 kV direct current (Czech Republic) and 15 kV alternating current (Germany). To this day, its main areas of operation are on the Dresden-Decin-Prague line, but Leipzig and Polish border stations are also part of its sphere of activity. With its blue-grey paintwork in the colors of ČD Cargo, the model is a real eye-catcher on modern freight trains.

Technology and attention to detail in the smallest of spaces

The model is finely detailed, with numerous separately attached plug-in parts and a particularly realistic roof design including authentic pantographs. Four axles are driven, two of them with traction tires. The electrical interface to Next18 allows easy retrofitting of a digital decoder. The LED headlights change between 3x white and 2x red depending on the direction of travel.

Perfect for international train sets

With a running length of 105 mm, the locomotive is ideal for use on modern N-gauge layouts. Thanks to the NEM 355 coupling shaft with close coupling kinematics, it runs reliably even on tight radii from 192 mm. Whether in front of long container block trains or in combination with international freight wagons - the 372 007-5 brings modern operations realistically to your layout.
