TRAXX F140 AC2 - designed for international operations

The 185.2 series belongs to the second generation of the TRAXX platform from Bombardier. It is designed as a dual system locomotive for 15 kV/16.7 Hz and 25 kV/50 Hz AC networks - ideal for international use. The locomotives have a crash-optimized locomotive body. The locomotive 185 402-5 was originally part of an order from Green Cargo, but was added to the DB Schenker Rail Deutschland fleet after a locomotive exchange and is now operated under Railion Scandinavia.
