TRAXX 3 - technology with flexibility

The class 187 (TRAXX 3) developed by Bombardier is a consistent further development of its predecessors. It is not only visually recognizable by its redesigned locomotive body, but is also technically state-of-the-art. The locomotives are designed for use under 15 kV / 16.7 Hz and 25 kV / 50 Hz and have a 180 kW diesel auxiliary engine for "last mile" operations on non-electrified sections.

Fleischmann has realized the model with separately applied plug-in parts, finely engraved body surfaces and filigree pantographs.
