Description

Fleischmann 7570048 N electric locomotive 193 451-2, SBB-Cargo International, Ep. VI, DC-sound Product Details

Fleischmann 7570048 N-gauge electric locomotive 193 451-2, SBB Cargo International, Era VI, DC sound: State-of-the-art technology and impressive sound

The Fleischmann 7570048 N gauge electric locomotive 193 451 brings state-of-the-art technology, realistic sound and impressive details to your model railway layout. With its christened name "Bavaria Munich" and its striking design, it is a real highlight for collectors and model railway fans of Era VI.

The prototype: Vectron 193 451 - flexibility and performance

The Vectron locomotives of the 193 series are the result of state-of-the-art engineering from Siemens Mobility. The 193 451, also known as "Bavaria Munich", is part of a fleet of 20 multi-system locomotives ordered in July 2022 by SBB Cargo International in cooperation with SüdLeasing GmbH. Thanks to the XLoad equipment package, it offers improved friction coefficient utilization and can handle increased trailer loads.

With its cross-border use, the locomotive is an important link in European freight transport. The locomotives in this series are used both on lowland routes and in mountainous regions, guaranteeing maximum efficiency and reliability.

Era VI: Innovation and internationality

Era VI (from 2007) stands for a time of technological innovation and cross-border cooperation. The 193 451 is a prime example of this development and symbolizes the modernization and sustainability of freight transport on international rails.

Technical features and equipment

The model is equipped with a Next18 sound decoder that provides realistic operating sounds such as starting, braking and signal sounds. Swiss light changes (red-white) and the high beam can be switched digitally, making the locomotive look particularly prototypical. The lights change over using long-life LEDs, which guarantee low-maintenance use.

The detailed roof design with filigree pantographs and the characteristic design make the model a real eye-catcher. With a length over buffers (LüP) of 109 mm and a minimum radius of 192 mm, the locomotive is ideal for N-gauge layouts. The NEM coupling shaft with close coupling kinematics ensures a reliable connection and smooth running characteristics.

Design and workmanship

The locomotive impresses with its precise printing, the striking dark blue paintwork and the christened name "Bavaria Munich". In collaboration with Railcolor Design, the model was designed true to the original to perfectly capture the character of the prototype. The intricate details such as the ventilation grille and pantograph underline the high quality of workmanship.

Care and maintenance

The model requires little maintenance, but dust and dirt should be removed regularly. Moving parts and axles can be lightly oiled to ensure optimum functionality. Thanks to the robust design and the Next18 interface, the model is easy to retrofit and remains durable even with intensive use.

Conclusion and purchase recommendation

The Fleischmann 7570048 N-gauge electric locomotive 193 451-2 with DC sound is a highlight of modern model railway technology. With its digital functions, high-quality workmanship and detailed design, it is an ideal addition to any N-gauge layout of era VI. Whether as a collector's item or in operation on the layout - this model is impressive in every respect.
