Class 151 - the backbone of heavy freight traffic

From 1976, the class 151 locomotives took over the hauling of the heaviest ore trains in Europe. In double traction, they hauled loads of up to 5,700 tons between the North Sea ports and steelworks such as Peine-Salzgitter or the Saarland. Because of the enormous tractive forces, only the automatic coupler was used - this detail is also included in the model.

Two-part locomotive set with the highest level of detail

The set contains the 151 094-0 and 151 117-9 locomotives - both fully equipped with their own drive, LED headlights (depending on the direction of travel), digitally switchable sound and the finest printing including AK coupling markings. Separately applied components ensure a particularly prototypical appearance.

Technically strong - for maximum tractive power

Each locomotive has four powered axles, two traction tires and a flywheel for excellent running characteristics. The models are equipped with an NEM 651 digital interface and factory-fitted sound decoder - ready for use in digital layouts.
