About the prototype: 1 example of this rail bus was produced at the Bautzen wagon construction plant. Due to technical difficulties, it was not completely convincing on test runs and also due to the limited production capacities in the GDR, only this one example was completed. It ran on the GDR rail network until 1978 and was then taken out of service.
About the model: Kres produces a high-quality model based on this special rail vehicle. This is characterized by a very accurately replicated interior, which can be set in scene with the interior lighting. This interior lighting and also the 3 headlights and the 2 tail lights are produced by LEDs, which require minimal maintenance and produce an intense light.
